The beloved 1998 RPG Classic, SaGa Frontier, is reborn with improved graphics. In addition to the new graphics, this version comes packed with extra content and gameplay improvements. Not only does SaGa Frontier Remastered boast beautiful, hand-drawn graphics (not for everyone), but it also includes a variety of new features.
- Explore the land of Lemuria and team up with eight different heroes to take down the dark mage Vhailor for once and for all! You must choose a hero to be the champion of your land. You can play as one of eight heroes, each with their own unique abilities and skill trees.
- Square Enix has updated the graphics, controller support and cloud saving to its hit game. But the graphics is still bad, not up to the price the company sells it at. It’s unfortunate that Square charges such a high price for its premium mobile releases.
- The new main character, Fuse, can be played once certain conditions have been fulfilled. The Fuse scenario has some of the best music from Kenji Ito and is full of exciting content.
- UI has been updated and improved and features like double-speed mode are added. You’ll be able to experience double-speed mode and high resolution graphics with this update.
Square’s track history shows they abandon premium releases without support post-release but if you enjoy your playtime and are looking forward to additional content or frequent bug fixes then there isn’t much hope for more than just the one round. If you want to play a nostalgia game, it is for you.
